...I taught them English, Language Arts, and Spelling. While I was waiting to take my test to become a substitute teacher, I would volunteer in the 5th grade classroom and help out the teacher since she was the only one that was there with the entire class. I would take home the papers that the students wrote, and I would grade them for her, just as any other ELA teacher would do. (read more)
