I am currently employed by the Blue Mountain School District, Orwigsburg, PA, as a per diem substitute teacher. I have served as a substitute in many different disciplines. Others had a diagnosed learning disability, and still others were typical children who were just having a hard time with reading, or grasping concepts in the language arts.
